Algerian football legend, Rabah Madjer, wished the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, to move to one of the two largest clubs in the Spanish Football League.
Majer believes that Salah should try his luck with Real Madrid or Barcelona, stressing that if this is achieved, it will be a step forward in the Egyptian star's career.
"In fact, I hope to see Salah in the future in a Real Madrid or Barcelona jersey, as this will be a new impetus in his football career," Majer said in statements highlighted by the Spanish newspaper "Sport".

He added, "Salah's move to renew his contract with Liverpool last summer (2022) is a recognition by the player of the favor towards his current club, but personally I still would like to see him with Barcelona or Real."
Majer praised Salah's career with Liverpool, saying, "Mohamed showed his full potential with the Reds, something he could not do with Chelsea."
And he continued, "In Liverpool, Salah felt satisfied, and they helped him bring out the best in football, which made his career wonderful."
Salah joined Liverpool in July 2017 from Rome, and renewed his contract with the team last summer, until June 2025.
Since then, Salah has scored 179 goals and provided 74 assists, in 295 matches in all tournaments, achieving many records.
He also led the team to win all possible titles, namely the English Premier League, the FA Cup, the English Professional League Cup, the Charity Shield (English Super Cup), the European Champions League, the European Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.
As for Madjer, as a player, he had a wonderful professional career in Europe, where he previously defended the colors of Valencia and Porto.
Mager led Porto to crown the European Champions League title in the 1986-1987 season, after scoring the equalizer against Bayern Munich, before his colleague Guari gifted the Portuguese team the winning goal.
This was not the only title for Mager with Porto, if he added 7 other titles to it, which are two in the Portuguese League, the same in the Portuguese Cup and the Portuguese Super Cup, and a single title in the Intercontinental Cup.

Madjer revealed his favorite team to win the current edition of the Champions League, saying, "I see Manchester City as very strong, and I think it is the most prominent team to win the championship."
He continued, "But we must not forget Real Madrid, given the traditions of this team, it always competes very well, and they are always candidates for the title."
