In this regard, a civil marine cargo containing 24 containers of relief goods including tarpaulin, tents, beds, clothes and generators left Port Qasim Karachi today. Out of the 186.23 tons of goods sent, 180 tons of relief goods were sent to Syria while 2 containers containing 6.23 tons were sent to Turkey.
According to the spokesperson of NDMA, this ship will arrive at Mersin port on June 25 with containers containing relief goods, which will be received by AFAD representatives, while Pakistan's ambassador to Syria will receive the goods at Latakia port in Syria on July 20, 2023. will This shipment of goods includes goods provided by welfare organizations and provincial disaster management authorities. According to the spokesman, NDMA Pakistan is still engaged in helping the victims of the catastrophic earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023.
