G7 countries have pledged to phase out fossil fuels but have not given any new deadline, Senator Sherry Rehman

Islamabad. April 17 (APP): Federal Minister for Climate Change, Senator Sherry Rehman, has said that the G7 countries have committed to abandon fossil fuels quickly, but did not give any new deadline in this regard.

In his tweet on Monday, he also shared a media report regarding the G7 countries' announcement to phase out fossil fuels. He said that last year the G7 countries said that the extraordinary circumstances created by Russia's war in Ukraine made gas investments appropriate as a temporary response.
