Summit meeting of the ruling parties, delegation of all decisions to the Prime Minister, unanimous decision to hold elections across the country on the same day on completion of the constitutional term of the current government

Islamabad. April 26 (APP): The leaders of the ruling parties expressed full confidence in Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and reiterated their determination to continue supporting him and assigned all decisions to the Prime Minister in the current meeting. On the completion of the constitutional term of the government, it was unanimously decided to hold elections across the country on the same day. In the meeting, the observation regarding the Prime Minister's loss of majority in the Supreme Court's decision, former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and other audios, martial law was imposed in the country. The undemocratic thinking of Jana was also strongly condemned. According to a statement issued by the media wing of the Prime Minister's Office, an important high-level consultative meeting of the heads of the ruling parties was held at the Prime Minister's House on Wednesday. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over the meeting in which Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and leaders of other parties participated.

At the beginning of the meeting, the former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Mufti Abdul Shakoor, expressed regret over his death and paid tribute to his services for the nation. The meeting prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience for the family. The meeting condoled the tragedy of Police Station CTD, Kabul, Swat and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of the war against terrorism and for the patience of the families. The meeting paid tribute to the officers and soldiers of the armed forces for the elimination of terrorism and national defense and security.

In the meeting, the overall situation of the country was reviewed and especially the issues arising from the controversial and one-sided bench decisions of the Supreme Court were discussed while regarding the holding of elections in the country on the same day after the completion of the constitutional term of the current government. Future strategy was considered in the context of taking the already ongoing consultation process to the next stage, consultation of the committee constituted in this regard and other political contacts. The meeting unanimously decided that on the completion of the constitutional term of the current government, holding elections across the country on the same day is the main point. The meeting expressed full confidence in Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and reiterated his commitment to continue his support and assigned all decision-making powers to the Prime Minister.

The meeting declared that whatever decision Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif takes, all parties of the alliance will fully support it. The meeting clarified that the ruling parties have already started the process of political consultation within themselves regarding conducting transparent, free and impartial elections in the country on a single day and pointed out that the Panchayat of the Supreme Court in this purely political matter. The role of political parties is inappropriate, the process of creating dialogue, understanding and consensus for elections is the general scope of political parties which they have been performing well and successfully for years. By consensus, the meeting agreed to keep the matter in the same circle. The meeting also considered the decision of the Supreme Court on April 19 and expressed regret that the Supreme Court of Pakistan, ignoring the constitutional procedure, issued an order that the federal government should release money without the approval of the National Assembly. It is contrary to the scheme given in the Constitution.

The Supreme Court verdict also expressed regret over the observation that the Prime Minister has lost the majority and confidence of the House. These observations are tantamount to insulting the Parliament and the Prime Minister and are condemnable. The Supreme Court should respect the opinion of the Parliament and the House. The Parliament stands with the Prime Minister and has full confidence in him. The meeting also considered the audios that came out about the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Saqib Nisar, lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim and his wife and strongly condemned the points of conversation that came out in them. The conspiracy was revealed from this conversation. It's done.

The meeting stated that these audios have further strengthened the impression that the decisions are not being made according to the constitution but on the basis of personal animosity, likes and dislikes. The meeting also strongly condemned the undemocratic thinking of imposing martial law in the country. Former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and Khawaja Tariq Rahim have already admitted the conversation revealed in the audio released on April 25, after which there is no doubt that former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar is against an elected prime minister and an elected democratic coalition government. They are guilty of conspiracy.

Removing an elected Prime Minister from office through a bogus, unconstitutional and illegal process of contempt of court is a grave and unpardonable crime. The meeting declared that after these audios came out, the real factors behind the controversial decisions of the three and eight-member bench have come out more clearly. In this regard, the resolutions of the parliament should be implemented.
