Islamabad. December 3 (APP): Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani have expressed their condolences on the death of senior political leader Begum Najma Hameed.
In a statement issued by the media wing of the National Assembly on Saturday, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani have paid tribute to the political and social services of Begum Najma Hameed and said that since the death of Begum Najma Hameed. The country has lost a principled, intelligent and courageous political leader.
He always did principled politics and stood by the leadership in all difficult times. The Speaker and Deputy Speaker said that the political and social services of the deceased will be remembered for a long time.
He prayed that Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in His mercy and grant the family members, especially her sister Tahira Aurangzeb and niece Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb, courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss.
