With the establishment of Punjab University Pothwar Campus in Gujjar Khan, Gujjar Khan Rawalpindi, the students of Gujjar Khan and adjoining areas will not have to go to other cities for higher education. He said that solving the problems faced by the students in relation to higher education and the problems faced in the education sector is his first responsibility as a public representative. He said that the establishment of Punjab University Pothwar Campus Gujjar Khan Rawalpindi will provide opportunities to the students of the region to get higher education. This place is located at the confluence of Jhelum, Gujjar Khan, Mirpur, Dovidyal, Chakwal and other adjacent areas of Azad Kashmir. Students from other areas of Punjab including Kashmir, Jhelum, Chakwal, Kallar Syedan will also benefit from the establishment of Punjab University Pothwar Campus Gujar Khan Rawalpindi in Gujar Khan.
Gujjar Khan is an important part of Rawalpindi Division and is of great geographical importance. He said that there is no general university in Rawalpindi division. Punjab University Pothwar Campus Gujjar Khan Rawalpindi will be the first university of its kind equipped with modern education.
