Lahore. April 15 (APP): The central leader of Muslim League-N and federal law minister, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, has said that it is the power of parliament to legislate, it is not the job of the court, and they will not give this right to anyone. He was addressing the ceremony of distribution of certificates to the vocational course participants at the Punjab Bar Council. Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said that the conspiracy to divide the lawyers' community will not be successful.
The Federal Law Minister said that we do politics as a service, legislation is the right of the Parliament only, yesterday the Parliament has passed the law regarding the review. The relevant legislation has been passed, we have to legislate keeping in mind the Constitution of Pakistan, we are proud of our legislation, we will continue to legislate for the betterment of the people and lawyers.
Federal Minister of Law Azam Nazir Tarar said that he made a law on Supreme Court Practice and Procedure, which has been prevented from being implemented by making a bench. He said that he stands with the Parliament. He thanked the lawyers for supporting the Parliament. The Federal Law Minister said that he was comforted and proud of this legislation.
Azam Nazir Tarar said that he will pass legislation again without hesitation for what is related to people's rights and justice. He said that the Punjab Bar Council took steps for the welfare of the lawyers' community. Bar Ahsan Bhavan and other lawyers also expressed their views. At the end of the ceremony, shields and certificates were distributed among the participants of the vocational course.
