Samsung has officially announced that the (Galaxy Unpacked 2023) event will be held this year on Wednesday, February 1, which is the event during which it will announce the (Galaxy S23) series of phones that will compete with the upcoming iPhone 15 phones from Apple, and the expected Google Pixel phones this year.
Samsung did not provide any details about what it might offer at the event this year, but the Galaxy S23 series of phones is expected to be the focus of the event.
As usual, with the approaching unveiling of new phones, many leaks appear about the new specifications and features that will be supported, and it is certain that Samsung phones (Galaxy S23) will be among the most important leading Android phones during the year 2023, with which we compare all other leading Android phones during the year.

1- The launch date of the Galaxy S23 phones:
Samsung will announce the (Galaxy S23) series of phones next February 1 during its annual event that will be held in San Francisco.
But will the new phones be available in stores for purchase in that month? No. That might be difficult, as global supply chains are still struggling, and there will likely be longer than usual delays.
But Samsung is already offering promotions to customers in the United States who want to reserve the (Galaxy S23) phones and the (Galaxy Book) computer early, as you will get $ 50 in Samsung credit if you book one device or $ 100 if you book two devices.
2- Galaxy S23 models and sizes:
It is expected that Samsung will follow its usual strategy in launching the (Galaxy S) series, as it includes multiple models, each with different specifications and prices, to attract multiple categories of users.
Therefore, it is expected to see three new phones within the Galaxy S23 series: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, ranging in size from small to medium to large.
As usual, the largest phone in the series (Galaxy S23 Ultra) will include the best technologies, such as: additional cameras, a large screen, and it will certainly support the S Pen.
The Ice Universe account for leaks published a detailed summary of the sizes of the next three phones, and it was stated that they will not differ from the sizes of the Galaxy S series phones for the past year, as the dimensions will differ by fractions of a millimeter, and the screen sizes and resolutions for all three models will remain the same as they were in previous phones:
Galaxy S23: It will have a 6.1-inch screen.
Galaxy S23 Plus: It will feature a 6.6-inch screen.
Galaxy S23 Ultra: It will feature a 6.8-inch screen.

3- Design:
A leak from the Dutch (Nieuwe Mobiel) website revealed the design of two of the upcoming Samsung phones: S23 Plus and S23 Ultra, as the site published pictures showing the design and colors that they will come with.
The design of the (Galaxy S23 Ultra) – the most powerful phone in the series – is similar to the design of the (Galaxy S22 Ultra) phone from the previous generation, almost without any change, as it is based on the design of the Galaxy Note series that Samsung discontinued in 2020.
The phone comes with almost square edges, with a place for the digital pen (S Pen) on the bottom of the phone, with the rear cameras located in separate circles.
The leaked images show that the new phone will be available in four different colors: white, black, light pink and dark green.
As for the design of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus phones, both phones come with a slightly different design than the phones themselves from the previous generation, as the leaked images show that the design of the two phones has more flat edges and is not circular, with the replacement of the cover on the rear cameras with the presence of the rear cameras in separate circles. Similar to (Galaxy S23 Ultra), the largest phone in the series.
Both phones are available in the same colors as the larger phone, namely: white, black, light pink, and dark green, and other leaks indicated that Samsung will provide the two phones in exclusive additional colors through its website.

The leaks so far indicate that the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus models will include the same rear camera that was in last year’s phones, which is a triple lens, the first: with a resolution of 50 megapixels, the second: with a resolution of 12 megapixels, and the third: with a resolution of 10 megapixels.
While the (Galaxy S23 Ultra) will feature a quad-lens rear camera; The new main lens will be 200 megapixels, capable of delivering great night shots, and will be an alternative to the 108 megapixel main camera in the (Galaxy S22 Ultra) phone.
With two telephoto lenses, each with a resolution of 10 megapixels, and another ultra-wide lens (UltraWide).
5- Internal specifications:
It is almost certain that the (Galaxy S23) series will work with the latest processor from Qualcomm (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) manufactured with 4 nanometer technology, and it will provide better and more effective performance for tasks related to artificial intelligence.
And (Akash Palkhiwala), Qualcomm's chief financial officer, confirmed in his comment on the profits of the fourth quarter of 2022 that Samsung's share of Qualcomm chips, amounting to 75% in the Galaxy S22 series, will increase to a global share in the upcoming Galaxy S phones, and this means that all models of the S23 series will work with processors. Qualcomm.
in previous years; Samsung used its own (Exynos) processors in its versions in Europe, and Qualcomm processors in its versions in America, but this year we are likely to witness a major change in this policy.
The new phones will support 5G networks, and the (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) processor is the first SoC processor to support Wi-Fi 7 networks, thanks to the (Snapdragon X70) modem.
As for other specifications, it is also expected that the S23 and S23 Plus models will share 8 GB of RAM, and internal storage space options that come with a capacity of 128, 256, or 512 GB.
While the (Galaxy S23 Ultra) will come with 12 GB of RAM, and two options of internal storage space with a capacity of 256, 512 GB, or 1 TB.
In addition to all that, all models in the Galaxy S23 series will run Android 13 based on the user interface (One UI 5.1).
