The curse of injuries has returned to haunt the Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan, and threatens his future with the team in particular and with football in general.
The "Sultan" was injured again during the warm-up operations that preceded the start of the Milan and Lecce match last Sunday, in which the "Rossonoi" won 2-0 at the San Siro stadium.
And according to what Zlatan's medical examinations later revealed, it is likely that this injury will keep him out of action for about a month, which means that his season is approaching the end.
This injury comes to compound the ordeal of the Swedish striker, who is doubtful about his continuation in the next season with Milan, who seemed reluctant to extend the player's contract.
Ibrahimovic's contract with Milan is set to expire on June 30, 2023.

And the Spanish newspaper " Sport " confirms that Ibrahimovic is living a real "nightmare" with injuries, as he underwent surgery in June 2022 that kept him out of action for 8 months.
During the current season, the Swedish striker, 41, played only 4 matches with Milan, all of them in the Italian League.
Zlatan played 144 minutes distributed over the four matches:
- Udinese (76 minutes), during which he scored a goal.
- Atlanta (16)
- Fiorentina (24)
- Salernitana (28)
The newspaper believes that Zlatan is no longer able to get out of this impasse, and the idea of retiring began hovering in his head, despite his previous statements rejecting that.
In the past months, Ibrahimovic answered a question about whether he had considered retiring, and he said, "I have never decided on that. I want to continue as much as possible."
"I don't want to think about leaving football, and becoming like those who feel sad, thinking they can go on without doing that, I'm going on," he added.
"While I was feeling a bit uncomfortable, I was determined to do my best with the team because that is my mentality," Ibra explained.
And he added, "After I reached the age of thirty, I noticed that my physical pain does not leave me. In Milan, I have a physiotherapist who follows me throughout the day. The doctor intervenes in every small and large, and as soon as I feel something, I receive treatment directly."
Zlatan returned to Milan on January 2, 2020 from Los Angeles, USA, to wear the “Ressoneri” shirt in a second era.
Zlatan contributed to Milan crowning the Italian League title in the 2021-2022 season, for the 19th time in the club's history.
