Libya: Parliament approved the suspension of Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha

Libya's parliament has approved the suspension of its own prime minister, Fathi Bashaghako, and has voted to replace him with finance minister Osama Hamda as prime minister.

The parliament in eastern Libya appointed Fathi Bashagha as prime minister last year, but he has been unable to enter the capital Tripoli or take over from Prime Minister Abdulhamid al-Dabibah. Al-Dabibah rejected his appointment.
