Islamabad. November 24 (APP): National Skills University (NSU) and Evacuation Trust Property Board (ETPB) have signed an MoU for lease of land for construction of NSU campus at Sheikhupura, Muridke. It was signed in the presence of Federal Minister for Federal Education and Vocational Training Rana Tanveer Hussain and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor.
Senior officials of the Ministry also participated. On this occasion, Rana Tanveer Hussain said that one of the top priorities of this government is to increase the provision of technical and vocational training. Emphasizing the importance of technical and vocational training, he said that it has played an important role in the development of the common man all over the world. He said that we have examples from the most developed world where technical and vocational training has played an important role in integrating the unemployed population into the society as useful and productive citizens.
Rana Tanveer Hussain said that this system can provide positive results quickly and efficiently as compared to the formal education system. He said that wide access to vocational and technical training is necessary to provide employment to the youth of the country. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor said that education is the foundation of any society.
He emphasized that getting education is the first duty of every Pakistani and Muslim. He acknowledged Rana Tanveer Hussain's efficient manner in executing the project successfully and signing the MoU. Rana Tanveer Hussain appreciated Abdul Shakur's strong response and said that access to education is the pillar of nation's development. is one of the.
