Islamabad. December 1 (APP): Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. The Prime Minister congratulated General Sahir Shamshad Mirza on assuming the post of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
According to the press wing of the Prime Minister's Office, the Prime Minister appreciated the ability and role of General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in the professional affairs of the Army.
He said that the army is a valuable asset of the nation, the defense of the country will be strengthened with the leadership of two most capable officers. The professional affairs of the armed forces were discussed in the meeting. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza thanked the Prime Minister.
