Islamabad. April 17 (APP): While welcoming the recent negotiations and diplomatic efforts to achieve peace in Yemen, Pakistan has said that the role of Saudi Arabia, Oman and the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen in this regard. They are a source of strength in efforts.
"We believe that Saudi efforts for a peaceful resolution of the Yemen crisis are timely and will promote peace, stability and development in the region," said a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson on Monday.
The spokesman said that Pakistan has reiterated its principled support for a political solution to the Yemen crisis through dialogue and consultation.
