"Pak army is united under the leadership of General Asim Munir and there is no possibility of martial law in the country"

"There is no question of martial law in Pakistan. The army is united under the leadership of the Army Chief. No one has resigned in Pakistan Army.

These views were expressed by the spokesperson of Pakistan Army Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry while talking to a private TV channel on Friday. He said that despite internal and external propaganda, the army is and will remain united.

DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the entire military leadership, including the Army Chief, believes in democracy. Pakistan Army is united and will remain united.

Spokesman Pakistan Army termed the rumors of martial law in the country as baseless and said that the question of martial law does not arise.
