The two sides fully affirmed the fruitful achievements of China-Russia humanities cooperation in the past five years, and successively held three national years with the themes of local cooperation, scientific and technological innovation, and sports exchanges, and carried out nearly 2,000 various activities in total. The number has increased to 116, 80 joint laboratories and research centers have been established, and cooperation in various fields has continued to deepen. The two sides spoke highly of the positive role and far-reaching significance of the deepening people-to-people and cultural cooperation to China-Russia relations, and jointly expressed their desire to promote China-Russia people-to-people and cultural cooperation to a higher level under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Putin.

Sun Chunlan introduced the situation of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. She pointed out that people-to-people and cultural exchanges play a fundamental, leading and lasting role in the development of Sino-Russian relations. We must persist in implementing cooperation consensus in various fields, innovate mechanisms and methods, and promote people-to-people and cultural cooperation. We will make new and greater contributions to the development of the era's comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Golikova said that she is willing to work with China to continue to play the leading role of the theme year of sports exchanges, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, work together to create a model of bilateral people-to-people and cultural exchanges, promote China-Russia friendship from generation to generation, and continuously consolidate social and public opinion on bilateral relations Base.
