Xinhua News Agency, Jerusalem, November 25 (Reporter Lu Yingxu and Wang Zhuolun) The Chinese team defeated the Uzbekistan team in the final of the 2022 FIDE Men's World Team Championship in Jerusalem on the 25th and won the championship. This is the third time the Chinese team has won the championship after 2015 and 2017.

In the final, there were two rounds of contests according to the competition system. In the first round, Platinum Stone defeated Shamshidin Vohidov, and the other three rounds were tied; in the second round, Li Di defeated Ortik Nigmatov, and the other three rounds were tied. The game ended in a draw again. In the end, the Chinese team won both rounds 2.5:1.5 and won the championship.

The Chinese Chess Team sent five players, Wen Yang, Xu Xiangyu, Bai Jinshi, Lu Shanglei and Li Di. Wen Yang told Xinhua News Agency that the Chinese chess players participating this time are very young. However, it is not surprising to achieve such a result, because the chess players trained very hard before the game.
Xu Xiangyu said that the chess players participating this time are the top players in the Olympiad and the champions of all continents.
