Tokayev sworn in as President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

People's Daily Online, Astana, November 26 (Reporter Zhou Hanbo) The inauguration ceremony of the elected president of Kazakhstan was held in the capital Astana on the 26th. Tokayev was sworn in as the president of Kazakhstan.

According to Kazakhstan News Agency, Kazakhstan's Central Election Commission issued relevant certificates to Tokayev at the inauguration ceremony. Tokayev held the constitution and took the oath of office. In his inaugural speech afterwards, he said that starting with this presidential election, Kazakhstan will enter a new era of development.

Kazakhstan held a presidential election on the 20th. A total of 6 candidates participated in the election. Tokayev won the election with 81.31% of the votes.
