Li Keqiang Meets with Mongolian President Khurelsukh

Li Keqiang expressed that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, with unique conditions for the development of friendly cooperation and obvious complementary advantages in many aspects. President Xi Jinping will hold talks with Mr. President to comprehensively plan the development of bilateral relations. China always attaches great importance to its relations with Mongolia and places China-Mongolia relations at an important position in its neighboring diplomacy. Communication and coordination in international affairs, and work together to promote the continuous development of China-Mongolia relations.
Li Keqiang pointed out that China-Mongolia cooperation is not only conducive to regional stability and development, but also injects positive force into world peace. China is willing to work with Mongolia to improve the level of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, strengthen cooperation in infrastructure construction, coal and other energy development, and jointly maintain energy security and stable supply. Actively promote cooperation such as cargo transfer at border ports and railway port connectivity. Strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in desertification prevention and control, and strive to meet the challenge of climate change.
Khurelsukh congratulated China on the development achievements it has made through reform and opening up over the past 40 years, saying that Mongolia and China are good neighbors, good friends and good partners. The Mongolian side is committed to developing long-term and stable good-neighborly and friendly relations with the Chinese side, and is willing to strengthen the integration of development strategies with the Chinese side, implement the new version of the Mongolia-China economic and trade cooperation medium-term development outline to be signed, and improve the level of bilateral trade. Deepen cooperation in areas such as infrastructure construction, energy, and desertification prevention and control. Better facilitate logistics and transportation, and improve customs clearance capabilities at border ports. Work together to push the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China to a new height.
