Xinhua News Agency, Los Angeles, November 28 (Reporter Tan Jingjing) The latest data released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the 28th showed that the single-week flu hospitalization rate in the U.S. hit the highest record since the 2010-2011 flu season. Experts said that this autumn and winter, the United States will face multiple threats from the epidemic of the new crown, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released data showing that the spread of the flu virus has intensified across the United States. As of the week of November 19, 11,269 hospitalized cases of influenza were reported across the United States, and the hospitalization rate was the highest since the 2010-2011 flu season. There were 5 flu deaths in children across the U.S. that week, and there have been 12 flu deaths in children this flu season.

The U.S. flu season typically peaks in the fall and winter, generally from December to February. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that annual flu vaccination is the best way to prevent flu, which not only helps prevent viral infection, but also prevents severe illness after infection. An annual flu vaccine is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older.

The data also shows that in the week ending November 19, the proportion of patients who visited the doctor due to respiratory diseases in the total number of outpatient clinics in the United States was significantly higher than the baseline level. Experts said that after the Thanksgiving holiday, the number of cases of respiratory infections in the United States may continue to increase. This autumn and winter, the United States faces multiple threats from the epidemic of the new crown, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus.

South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs: South Korea and Japan have narrowed their differences on the issue of forced labor claims Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, November 29 (Xinhua) South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an interview with reporters on the 29th that it is true that the differences between South Korea and Japan on the issue of compensation for forced expropriation against Japan under negotiation have narrowed. South Korea and Japan are discussing more specific solutions, but it is too early to say which particular plan is being focused on. South Korean President Yoon Seok-yue held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on the 13th, and the foreign ministries of the two countries held a director-level dialogue in Tokyo on the 24th to conduct close consultations on the issue of forced expropriation and compensation. It has been observed that the so-called candidate plan for narrowing differences may be carried out by the Japanese Imperial Forced Victim Support Foundation in South Korea in the form of repaying debts to victims, and the funds are raised by South Korean and Japanese private companies, rather than directly asking for compensation. Some experts believe that the third party's acquisition of the debt of the defendant Japanese company does not require the consent of the creditor, that is, the victim, but there are also objections within the legal profession. The victim believes that even if the debt is paid off by a third party, the defendant company must apologize and participate in fundraising, but there is no clear signal that the Japanese side is willing to accept it.
