Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will visit South Korea to attend the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum


Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, November 29. According to industry news on the 29th, Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will visit South Korea in early December and attend the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum.
The Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other five major economic groups in South Korea will hold the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum at the Seoul Hall of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on December 6. At that time, hundreds of entrepreneurs from the two countries will participate. Nguyen Xuan Phuc will attend the forum and deliver a keynote speech. Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited South Korea in 2019 when he was Prime Minister to attend the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum hosted by the Federation of Economics in Seoul.
The purpose of this forum is to seek to expand the investment of South Korean enterprises in Vietnam and discuss the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. The enterprises of the two countries will also sign a cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the spot. It is reported that Ruan Xuanfu will plan to meet with the presidents of major Korean conglomerates such as Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong the day before the forum. Nguyen Xuan Phuc took office as Prime Minister of Vietnam in 2016 and was elected President of the country in April 2021.
