Human development is currently facing major challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic has been repeatedly delayed, the geopolitical situation is tense, and global governance is severely lacking. How to solve the development problem? China advocates promoting a more inclusive, more inclusive, and more resilient global development, which is highly and deeply compatible with the current and long-term needs of the international community, and has been widely recognized and praised by the international community.
At present, the recovery of the world economy is struggling, and the implementation process of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is hindered. At the same time, certain countries openly clamored for secession and confrontation, decoupling and breaking chains. China has always promoted win-win cooperation and inclusive development with an open attitude and practical actions.
China is actively building a high-level opening-up system. China has become a major trading partner of more than 140 countries and regions; China International Import Expo has been held for five consecutive times, allowing companies from various countries to better seek development opportunities in the Chinese market, and also allowing local Chinese companies to show their value to the world; building a high-standard market system, deepen the market-oriented reform of factors, continue to relax foreign investment access, and continuously improve the business environment… China has taken solid actions to promote the construction of an open world economy. Volker Chapke, honorary chairman of the Prussian Association in Berlin, Germany, said that the interests of all countries are intertwined, and peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation are the only feasible ways to deal with common challenges, which is exactly what China has been committed to achieving.
At present, the phenomenon of inequality and imbalance in global development is prominent, and public goods to improve global economic governance are scarce. China actively provides public goods in global economic governance to promote more inclusive global development.
China's global development initiative draws a blueprint for more inclusive development around the world. Over the past year, the "Group of Friends of the Global Development Initiative" has members from more than 60 countries. China is not only the proponent of the global development initiative, but also an activist in the implementation of this initiative: China Railway Express has laid out 82 transportation routes, reaching 200 cities in 24 European countries; since the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed, there have been 149 Countries and 32 international organizations have signed more than 200 cooperation documents with China… In the view of Ong Shijie, Chairman of the Center for New Asian Strategic Studies in Malaysia, global development initiatives cross the barriers of race, religion, culture and even ideology, and are universal and inclusive . Luis Paulino, an expert on China issues at Sao Paulo State University in Brazil, believes that global development initiatives are not only the key to implementing the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, but also the key to achieving sustainable human development.
From cooperating with Indonesia, Serbia and other countries to launch the "Building a Stable and Resilient Industrial Chain Supply Chain International Cooperation Initiative", to advocating the establishment of a global clean energy partnership with many countries, and to proposing an international food security cooperation initiative, China It has been working hard to promote global development with greater resilience.
The world economy is currently facing the risk of recession, and developing countries bear the brunt. China has always been thinking about the difficulties of developing countries and taking care of the concerns of developing countries: fully implementing the G20 Debt Suspension Initiative, with the largest amount of debt suspension among G20 members; establishing the "China-United Nations Peace and Development Fund" "Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund", which provides development assistance to more than 160 countries in need; supports the African Union to join the G20; proposes a digital innovation cooperation action plan in the G20, which will help reduce the gap between North and South The digital divide between countries…
In response to the changes of history, answer the questions of the times, and develop the responsibility of a big country. China has always been an active participant and promoter of global development, and has continuously contributed Chinese wisdom and strength to solving global development problems, building global development partnerships, and promoting the building of a global development community.
