Nitivu's visit to South Korea to attend the South Korea-Africa Military Industry Cooperation Conference is also his first visit to South Korea. Shin Bum-chul commented that after Ghana’s Deputy Defense Minister Kofi Amankwa Manu came to South Korea to attend the “2022 Seoul Security Dialogue” (SDD) in September this year, His Excellency the Minister of Defense also visited South Korea, and the two countries are strengthening cooperation. He suggested that South Korea and Canada will continue to carry out mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields such as personnel exchanges, peacekeeping, and military industry in the future. Nitivu agreed with this and hoped that this visit would become an opportunity to promote cooperation in national defense and military industry between the two countries.
In addition, Shin Bum-chul called on the friendly country of Ghana to actively support Busan City's bid to host the 2030 World Expo.
