Yin Xiyue said that the two sides welcome the expansion of the scope of mutual investment between enterprises of the two countries to future strategic industries such as power batteries and renewable energy, and agreed to actively provide the necessary support at the government level. Yin Xiyue said that the two countries have jointly contracted construction projects in Africa and the Middle East, and on this basis, the two countries have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the cooperation of export financing institutions, which is expected to provide a strong support for enterprises of the two countries to jointly enter the third-party market. support.
The two leaders also agreed on the need to expand personnel exchanges. Yin Xiyue said that the two sides agreed that the Cervantes Institute and the Spanish Tourism Office, which will be located in Seoul next year, will contribute to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
Yin Xiyue also said that North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) earlier that day. South Korea and the West strongly condemned North Korea's recent unprecedented frequency and intensity of ballistic missile provocations, and agreed to maintain close cooperation and guide the international community to respond in unity.
