One person was injured after a shooting in the area of a McDonalds restaurant in Dayton.

Around 1:23 a.m. crews were dispatched to the 3900 block of Free Pike in Dayton on reports of a shooting.

The victim was reportedly shot in the abdomen, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant.

Medics took the victim to an area hospital, the dispatch sergeant confirmed. Details on their current condition were not available at this time.
