15-year-old killed, two teens hospitalized after single-car crash in Warren County

One 15-year-old is dead and two other teenagers were hospitalized after a single-car crash Sunday night in Warren County, according to Iowa State Patrol.

A Toyota Camry Solara was traveling northbound on 200th Avenue in Warren County and lost control around 9:20 p.m., according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol. The car entered a ditch, overturned and vaulted over a driveway.

Two of the three occupants of the vehicle were ejected in the crash, the report said. All three occupants did not use a seatbelt.

An unidentified 15-year-old was airlifted to a hospital in Des Moines, but later died from injuries. The two other teenagers, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, were hospitalized in Des Moines.

The crash is still under investigation.
