Nearly 200 Michigan employers have been named Michigan Top Workplaces for 2024.
Any organization with 50 or more employees in the state was eligible to participate in the program that identifies top places to work through a workplace culture survey.
The survey is administered by the Detroit Free Press’ research partner Energage, which conducts surveys for media in 65 markets. Energage has surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.
Michigan companies, categorized by the number of employees, were surveyed over the summer. Those categories are small (50 to 149 employees), medium (150-499 employees) and large (500 or more employees).
In the end, 198 companies were named Michigan Top Workplaces. This was the 17th year of the program.
