2 killed after T-bone motorcycle crash in El Paso’s Lower Valley

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two young men are dead after a T-bone crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle this past Wednesday, Sept. 4, in El Paso’s Lower Valley, according to El Paso Police.

Police say Kevin Holguin, 17, and a 20-year-old Mexican man who was not identified both died after the crash this past Wednesday along the 7000 block of Alameda.

Just before 6 p.m., a 65-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Alameda in a Volkswagen and was attempting to make a left turn.

At the same time, Holguin and the 20-year-old man were traveling westbound on Alameda on a motorcycle and a T-bone crash occurred, police say.

Both men were transported to a local hospital. However, they both died as a result of their injuries, police said.

This is the 42nd and 43rd fatality this year compared to 53 at this time in 2023, police say.
