Music’s biggest night isn’t until Feb. 2, but the 67th annual Grammy Awards are gearing up to be a show not to be missed.
Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Charli XCX, who all skyrocketed to fame this year, are each predicted to earn nods for Album of the Year. Carpenter and Roan could be up for nominations in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist categories as well. Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter was also submitted for nominations in all four major country categories and could compete in the major categories too.
The 66th annual Grammy Awards delivered a number of monumental music moments. Taylor Swift made history as the first artist to win Album of the Year four times. She also announced the release of her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, while accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Miley Cyrus performed her hit single “Flowers,” Spotify’s most-streamed song of 2023, which also won Record of the Year. Victoria Monét was named Best New Artist, and Billie Eilish and Finneas won Song of the Year for “What Was I Made For” from the Barbie soundtrack.
Expect this year’s awards show to be a must-see event.
