22 Kids and Counting star to leave family and show after bombshell decision

The Radford family, stars of 22 Kids and Counting on Channel 5, faced their fears in a recent episode. Daniel Radford, son of Sue and Noel, revealed his plans to move to Australia after securing a job there, but he needed to overcome his fear of driving, which stemmed from a car accident two years prior.

Daniel opened up about the incident, while his mother Sue expressed her concerns about him moving halfway across the globe. Recalling the accident, Sue said: “We were actually in America when we found out about this and Daniel had text Noel to say ‘Is Mum with you?’ I think he was more worried about my reaction than how he was because he knew we would be really worried about him.”

She added: “Daniel was always a really confident person, he was a confident driver but since this accident, I think his confidence with driving has really taken a knock because he’s not wanted to drive another car.”

By the end of the episode, Daniel had mustered the courage to drive again and announced that he would be accepting the job in Australia. This news was bittersweet for Sue, who earlier admitted: “I do fear the kids leaving home. I’m going to miss him.” This development means that Daniel will soon be departing both his family home and the show, reports the Mirror.

In the same episode, Aimee took on the role of training her family for a Tough Mudder event, but was worried when her younger siblings ended up crying. Aimee set up an obstacle course for the little ones but was concerned they were too focused on finishing and wouldn’t assist each other during the challenging sections. She observed: “They’re too competitive.”

The intensity of the competition overwhelmed Casper, who broke down in tears, feeling unable to cope with the challenge. Aimee commented: “This is going to be a disaster.”
