GOSHEN — A third suspect in a 2020 holdup scheme has pleaded guilty.
Delaney Davis, 21, entered an admission to armed robbery as a Level 3 felony Thursday in Elkhart County Circuit Court. He admitted that he and two other people took cash from the victim at gunpoint during the Oct. 6, 2020, incident outside the Ashton Pines Apartment Complex.
The victim told Goshen police that he met a woman on SnapChat and arranged to meet her for dinner. He met her in the parking lot, where she claimed to be having car trouble and asked for help.

The victim said two men approached him while he was looking at the car, armed with a BB gun that appeared to be a real handgun. He said they tore his shirt and took a stainless steel chain necklace, his wallet and his phone.
The woman that the man met was identified as Morgan Carlson. She pleaded guilty to armed robbery and received a nine-year sentence.
The other man was identified as Adonis Blake, who was arrested in April 2022. Blake received a 14-year sentence after also entering an admission.
Davis was arrested on a warrant in May. He pleaded guilty ahead of a jury trial set for Jan. 6.
His plea agreement calls for a 12-year sentence with six years suspended to probation.
Judge Michael Christofeno accepted the plea and set sentencing for Jan. 16.
