7 big EastEnders’ spoilers from Kojo’s fate to surprise return and hospital dash

EastEnders is set to get all festive next week, but in true Albert Square style, a truck load of drama is about to follow.

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) takes charge of Walford’s Christmas lights switch-on and tries to rope in fiancée Cindy (Michelle Collins) to help out. But following an incident with Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), Cindy finds out he’s being woken up from a coma. The news comes after Cindy and Junior (Micah Balfour) enjoy another moment of passion before she heads to the hospital to see Kojo.

Meanwhile, there’s another medical emergency as Ian has bitten off more than he can chew and suffers chest pain. Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) wastes no time in calling ambulance for her son.

The doctors tells Ian to take it easy, as Kathy tells Ian that Cindy is to blame for his stress. Will Ian listen?

Cindy is forced to come clean to Junior about Kojo’s discovery of their affair and begs him to help keep Kojo quiet. A nervous Junior chats to Kojo at hospital, but will Kojo lie?

The thought of being outed by Kojo doesn’t deter the pair from continuing their affair. But when Junior gifts Cindy a present, Ian is alarmed to find it in her coat pocket.

Elsewhere, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) has returned from Brighton and quickly makes amends with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) who encourages her to speak to ex-girlfriend Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).

The former couple are soon locked in a tense showdown before Eve storms out leaving Suki heartbroken. Stacey is there to offer some friendly advice which prompts Eve to make a bold decision.

Appearing to be back on track, and set to get married, Suki and Eve are the picture of happiness as they hope their relationship will now run smoothly. But only time will tell.

Stacey has other concerns as her mum Jean Slater’s (Gillian Wright) scam ordeal continues. As a worried Stacey urges her to report it to the police Jean is struggling, but soon she’s relieved when she’s told by a solicitor that they can get her money back.

But Stacey remains concerned and asks Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to look into the situation – but what will he find?

Across the Square, there could be a new Mitchell romance on the cards when Teddy (Roland Manookian) heads over to Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) place for date night, but the evening doesn’t run smoothly.

After Sharon boots Teddy out of the house, the chance of the pair becoming passionate seems to falter.

However, the blonde bombshell invites him back to No.43 leaving Teddy delighted but his ex-wife Nicola (Laura Doddington) is fuming.

Elsewhere, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) continues to hit the bottle leaving Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) worried for the pub landlady.

While, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) struggles to get in the Christmas spirit and is taken aback when she learns about Pastor Clayton’s funeral.
