Seven area businesses provided alcohol to people under 21 on Thursday, according to the Watertown Police Department.
At around 4 p.m. Dec. 19, the Watertown Police Department and Codington County Sheriff’s Office conducted routine alcohol compliance checks.
The clerks allegedly involved in these sales were issued citations for providing alcohol products to persons under 21 years old.
The seven businesses that allegedly served underage people, according to the release, were:
