Legendary Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor Death, Rishi ruled over millions of hearts, has passed away today 30 April 2020 after fighting with cancer.
According to Indian media, 67-year-old Rishi Kapoor, who was suffering from cancer, was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday night due to ill health where he could not recover and passed away.
Kapoor’s death was confirmed by his brother Randhir Kapoor and during this time Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Singh was also with him.
Last year, the legendary actor’s wife Neetu Singh had revealed about Rishi Kapoor’s illness that she was suffering from cancer.
Kapoor was undergoing treatment in New York and returned to India after undergoing treatment. His mourners include his wife Neto Singh, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor film career
Legendary actor Rishi Kapoor has acted in more than 150 films and he started his film career in 1970 with Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Mera Naam Joker in which he played the role of his father’s childhood.
After that, he played the lead role for the first time in the film ‘Bobby’ with which he reached the heights of fame.
Kapoor has acted in many popular films including Laila Majnu, Chandni, Hina, Bol, This Promise, We Are No Less Than Anyone, Changing Relationships, Ajuba, Chandni, Amar Akbar Anthony, Deewana, and other famous films.
Kapoor last worked with actor Amitabh Bachchan in the film ‘102 not out’ in 2018, after which he became unwell.
He has also worked with new young actors, including several legendary actors, in his film career.
Kapoor won many awards including Filmfare, National Film Awards by winning the hearts of the fans with her best performance.
Rishi Kapoor was known in Bollywood for his romantic roles in many classic films like Sagar (1989), Naseeb (1981), Kabhi Kabhi (1976), and Chandni.
Rishi’s father Raj Kapoor was also a legendary actor, director-producer, while the actor’s sons Ranbir Kapoor and nieces Karisma and Kareena Kapoor also have their own unique identities in Bollywood.
Kapoor, popularly known as Chanto, first acted as a child star in his father’s film “Mera Naam Hai Joker” in 1970, while he also appeared in the song “Pyar Hua Iqraar Hua” from his father’s film “Shri 420”.
