ITV This Morning’s Cat Deeley leaves fans fuming over ‘annoying habit’

Fans of This Morning couldn’t overlook an annoying habit from presenter Cat Deeley once they had noticed it.

During Wednesday’s (July 10) episode, some viewers expressed their discontent on social media after becoming distracted during their favourite daytime show. Frequently and to the irritation of many, Cat was noted saying “Love, love, love,” when she got particularly excited.

The recurrent use of the phrase “love” didn’t sit well with the audience, especially those who voiced their complaints on X – formerly known as Twitter. An outraged fan posted: “Stop saying love love love #ThisMorning.”

In a more humorous tone, another teased: “#thismorning If she says Love, Love, Love one more time, I’m going to throw, throw, throw my remote at the TV!” Echoing similar sentiments, a third viewer said: “Does Cat have to keep saying love, love, love,” paired with a rolling eyes emoji.

Moreover, avid ‘This Morning’ spectators had a jolt after discovering that Dermot O’Leary might be the next host planning to “quit”. Betideas.com seems to suggest he seems most likely to depart the programme next, reports the Mirror.

Given these forecasts, the prediction for the 51 year old leaving at odds of 11/10 could be a reliable hint. A spokesperson for betideas.com, Lee Astley, noted: “Dermot O’Leary is the latest big ITV name to start branching out from his duties with the channel, with rumours rife that his tenure on ITV’s This Morning is coming to an end.”

He further commented: “We make him 11/10 to quit the flagship daytime programme altogether and 3/1 to start his own talk show, while appearances on a selection of BBC programmes also seem a possibility.”

In 2021, he joined the This Morning team alongside Alison Hammond, taking over Friday’s show previously hosted by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

The recent odds shift may be related to the news of Dermot co-hosting Silence is Golden, a forthcoming game show on Dave.

Regarding this new opportunity, Dermot mentioned: “I’m so looking forward to Silence is Golden. When a show like this falls into your lap, you can’t quite believe your luck.”
