The new splash pad opened on July 3 at Fink-White Park. Fresno’s Mayor Jerry Dyer and Councilmember Miguel Arias gathered to join the community and talk about the splash pad and the importance of having it in the area.
On the opening day, Dyer said that the splash pad was the first splash pad west of Highway 99 and south of Highway 180. He said the construction costs for the splash pad were $1.6 million.
As of Thursday, there is no date for when the splash pad will reopen.
