Police identify person injured in Tuesday’s motorcycle crash in South Lubbock

Police have identified the person who was seriously injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV Tuesday night in South Lubbock.

According to LPD, officers were called to the intersection of 144th Street and University Avenue just before 9:15 p.m. for a report of a collision involving two vehicles.

Upon arrival, officers located Adam Pearson, 40, who was taken to UMC via ambulance with serious injuries.

Through the police’s initial investigation, it appears that Pearson’s motorcycle was behind an SUV when the two collided in the intersection.

According to police, the investigation is still ongoing.
