Team GB have stormed up the medal table with a ninth gold won of the Games secured.
Imogen Grant and Emily Craig delivered gold in the lightweight women’s rowing sculls, before Bryony Page was then crowned Olympic champion in the women’s trampoline final. There was more to come on Friday, as the team jumping final at Chateau de Versailles delivered another golden moment.
Five medals on Wednesday, including two golds in 15 minutes from Alex Yee in the men’s triathlon and then the women’s quad sculls, was followed by a further three on Thursday morning, all again the rowing across the women’s and men’s final four finals and the double sculls.
China have retaken the lead after early gold medals on day six, but hosts France are enjoying a thrilling Games, thanks in part to swimmer Leon Marchand, who on Wednesday won back-to-back gold medals and both in record times.

How the medal table works
The medal table is ranked by gold medals, rather than overall medal count.
Silver and then bronze medals are used as tiebreakers if two countries are tied on the same number of golds. Then alphabetical order comes into play.
