Hillsborough County deputies are investigating after a woman was fatally stabbed in Brandon early Monday.
Deputies responded about 4:40 a.m. to a 911 caller who said a 64-year-old woman had been stabbed at a home on the 4100 block of Silvercrest Lane, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriffâs Office. The woman was pronounced dead after deputies arrived.
Detectives were working to find a suspect in the case, deputies said.
The sheriffâs office has not released the womanâs name.
