Have you seen this woman? Lee’s Summit police search for missing Alzheimer’s patient

A Silver Alert continues Wednesday as Lee’s Summit police search for a 74-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease who hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.

Patricia Ann McCarthy was last seen leaving her home on Bayview Drive in Lee’s Summit around 4 p.m. Tuesday. No one has been able to get in touch with her since.

McCarthy, who is Black, is around 5’1’’ and weighs about 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She may be driving a brown 2012 Kia Sportage with the Colorado license plate DPAX64.

A debit card registered to McCarthy was used in Overland Park and Lenexa on Wednesday, according to police. In the past, she has traveled to western Kansas, as well as to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has also been tasked with helping locate McCarthy.

Residents who see McCarthy or have information on her whereabouts are asked to contact the Lee’s Summit Police Department at 816-969-7390, extension 7.
