Local business plays key part in La Festa Italiana

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Scranton’s Annual Italian Festival, La Festa Italiana, is coming back, filling Courthouse Square with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Italy.

One local business, MAC Signs, has been a key part of the festival for over 20 years.

They’re the team behind all the signs you will see throughout the square, helping guide attendees to the best food, entertainment, and activities.

La Festa Italiana brings taste of Italy to Scranton

“There’s a lot to do, a lot of cutting that needs to be done, laminating, printing, a lot of banners, it feels good to be able to get all this stuff done within a week timeframe, making sure everything gets done every year correctly and up in time,” said MAC Signs Vinyl and Graphic Designer Cody Spencer.

MAC is also making large banners that have different landmarks in Italy. Those will all be hung inside the heritage tent.
