Emmerdale enthusiasts reckon they’ve sussed out the identity of Will Taylor’s (played by Dean Andrews) blackmailer, and it seems Rose Jackson (portrayed by Christine Tremarco) isn’t the culprit.
After Rose vanished, her former spouse Will found himself at the centre of a blackmail scheme by an unknown individual demanding cash to stay silent about their secret rendezvous.
In a recent twist, Will was left rattled when he received a bouquet with a note ominously stating: “I know what you did”. This event came hot on the heels of Kim Tate’s (acted by Claire King) return to Home Farm, following Rose’s ejection after she attempted to wreck Kim and Will’s marriage.
Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), upon discovering her dad was behind Rose’s departure from Emmerdale, decided to leave Home Farm with her family. Meanwhile, Will has kept his one-off kiss with Rose hidden from Kim, reports the Express.
Confiding in Jimmy King (Nick Miles), Will shared his concerns over the blackmail messages as they pondered the sender’s identity.
Speculation is rife among viewers, with many pointing fingers at Caleb Milligan (William Ash), who’s been craftily setting up a rival enterprise to Home Farm and seemingly duping locals to get ahead.
An Emmerdale viewer expressed their anticipation on X, posting: “I can’t wait for Will to find out that it’s Caleb and Ruby who are blackmailing him! He’ll batter Caleb.”
One social media user speculated: “That’s why it’s going to be great when Will finds out!”
Another commented on the plot twist: “All Caleb wants to do is bribe people #Emmerdale.”
Fans are not holding back, with one exclaiming: “Dodgy Caleb always ducking and diving #emmerdale”, and another predicting: “Kim already has her suspicions about Caleb, his downfall looms #Emmerdale.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
