BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A portion of a Baldwin County roadway is set to be impassable for the rest of the year, News 5 has learned.

According to a county press release, the impasse will be on a portion of County Road 65 between County Road 16 and County Road 10 starting at 8 a.m. on Sept. 3.
The closure is set to last through 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, as drainage improvements take place.
During the closure, officials ask that drivers in the area use a detour route.

The following map shows the area and a detour route for drivers to take during the impasse. That detour route is: County Road 16 to County Road 19 to County Road 10.
