Lt Gen Asim Malik appointed new DG ISI: ISPR

Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been appointed as the new Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He will officially assume his duties on September 30.

Prior to this appointment, Lt. General Malik currently serving as the Adjutant General at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. Throughout his distinguished military career, he has held crucial command positions, including leading an infantry division in Balochistan and an infantry brigade in Waziristan. Additionally, he earned the prestigious Sword of Honor upon completing his military training course.
