Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in New York City on Friday, September 27, two days after stating that the US “gotta to get out” of the war in Ukraine.Video posted by a Trump campaign official shows Trump and Zelensky entering a meeting room at Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.During a rally in Savannah, Georgia, on Wednesday, Trump said the United States needed to get out of the war in Ukraine and blamed his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris, and President Joe Biden for leading the US into the conflict.“I think we have the common view that the war in Ukraine has to be stopped and Putin can’t win and Ukrainians have to prevail and I want to discuss with you the details,” Zelensky told media on Friday, ahead of his meeting with Trump.A day earlier, on Thursday, Zelensky met the Democratic presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris.
