NC Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson ‘being treated for burns’ after incident at campaign event

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson has been hospitalized after an incident at a campaign event Friday night.

Mike Lonergan, communications director for Robinson’s gubernatorial campaign, told The News & Observer that Robinson “is currently being treated for burns” following the incident at the event in Mount Airy.

“He is in good spirits,” Lonergan added.

Robinson was attending the Mayberry Truck Show & Parade in Mount Airy on Friday evening.
