Film and TV memorabilia worth more than £12 million to be sold at auction
A C-3PO head, Captain America’s shield and Freddy Krueger’s screen matched metal glove armature are among a host of items set for the Entertainment Memorabilia Auction at the Propstore in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. List of items: A screen matched light-up C-3PO head from the 1977 film Star Wars: A New Hope (estimated £500,000-£1,000,000) which is part of Anthony Daniels’ personal collection; Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) make-up display from the 2019 film It Chapter Two (estimate (£6,000-£12,000); Honey Ryder’s (Ursula Andress) bathrobe from the 1962 James Bond film Dr No (estimate £70,000- £140,000); Daniel Craig’s tuxedo from the 2021 James Bond film No Time To Die (estimate £20,000-£40,000); Captain America shield from the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger (estimate £50,000-£100,000); Harrison Ford autographed bullwhip from the 1984 film Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (estimate £100,000-£200,000); Freddy Krueger’s (Robert Englund) screen matched metal glove armature (right) and hand drawn schematic (estimate £200,000-£400,000) from the films A Nightmare On Elm Street and A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge respectively.
