Nearly 1.3 million Ohioans have voted early or mailed in their ballot, according to the most recent data from the Ohio Secretary of State’s office.
Polls opened for early in-person voting and absentee voting by mail on Oct. 8. Early in-person voting ends Sunday, Nov. 3, and absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday, Nov. 4 to be counted. Here’s how to find early voting times and locations throughout the state.

If you want an absentee ballot to vote by mail, you need to submit your application to your local board of election by 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.
