Wendy’s returns to the Fox Valley with reopened locations | The Buzz

APPLETON — Two Wendy’s locations made a comeback to the Fox Valley with recent openings, less than a year after their closures.

Both fast-food restaurants are located in their former buildings: 3815 W. Wisconsin Ave. and 3300 S. Oneida St. The locations were previously owned by Starboard Group, but after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, it no longer operates any Wendy’s restaurants.

After Starboard Group’s bankruptcy, Wendy’s on Wisconsin Avenue in Grand Chute was the first to close in November 2023. It had its grand reopening on Sept. 5 with its hours set as 6:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.

Not far behind its sudden closure, Wendy’s on Oneida Street in Appleton closed in February 2024. The fast-food joint has since reopened on Nov. 4 with hours set as 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.

The new owner of the locations are Manna Hospitality Group, who currently operate 139 Wendy’s restaurants in various states.
