Emmerdale airs a major turning point in Tom and Belle King’s dark storyline next week.
Tom finally starts to face the consequences of his violent and abusive behaviour when he’s hauled back down to the police station for questioning.
Early next week, Tom’s downfall still appears to be far off as he continues to manipulate those around him.
Tom slyly tries to win over his aunt Nicola, who still doesn’t trust him, and hopes that a show of unity with his new girlfriend Amelia Spencer will work.

Tom even suggests to Amelia that they should move away together, which disgusts Sam Dingle when he overhears.
Concerned about his granddaughter Esther being raised in an abusive environment, Sam goes to the police station to raise his concerns.
He’s disappointed when the police confirm that they’re still not in a position to do anything about Tom due to lack of evidence against him.
The following day, Tom commits another crime by breaking into Charity’s home while Belle is upstairs in the bath.

After snooping around the place, obsessed Tom discreetly steals one of Belle’s tops before leaving again.
The villain taunts Belle when he next sees her – and she’s visibly confused to then spot Amelia wearing her missing top.
Belle makes accusations over her discovery, leaving Amelia baffled. In the end, Belle becomes overwhelmed and flees from the situation.
Later, back home at Keepers Cottage, Amelia is shaken as a furious Tom cruelly berates her over the situation with Belle.

Tom forcefully marches Amelia out of the house but is spotted by his uncle Jimmy. DS Foy also arrives on the scene to take Tom in for questioning.
The scheming villain tries his best to outwit those around him, but before long, he’s finally on the receiving end of justice. Has there been a breakthrough in the case at last?
