25-year-old man stabbed to death Saturday marks city’s 12th homicide

A 25-year-old Sioux Falls man was killed Saturday, according to a press release from Sioux Falls Police Department Lt. Aaron Nyberg.

Officers were called to the 500 block of South Duluth Avenue at an unspecified time, according to the press release.

At the scene, they located a 25-year-old man with stab wounds, according to the press release. The man succumbed to his injuries.

His name has not been released.

This marks the city’s 12th homicide this year.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, according to the press release. No subject description was included.

More information may be released 10:30 a.m. Monday at the daily police briefing with media.
